Dollcis

Aura

Hello,

Finally some time for an update here on the website—I need to be more up to date on this site, but its so much easier with with the social networking sites and also because of them, it always feels so redundant. Anyways, less than a month till Paris and I’m as usual struggling to get these Paris dolls done. The blouse is silk organza, so I thought french seams would be quite lovely for the inside finish, but of course I’ve never done this many of them and its taking forever—mainly my perfectionist side rearing up at this most inconvenient time. Anyways, I think its worth it though as the blouse looks absolutely pristine on the inside. Here is a quick pic I took a few weeks ago after cleaning up for the night and placing the unfinished blouse on my Devon mannequin. I thought with the top light on her, she looked so angelic, and even more so in this pic.

That blouse is going to be amazing. French seams are the perfect touch.

I would love to have one of your dolls in my collection.

    Hi Paul,

It was wonderful seeing you in Paris at the PFDF. Your work is amazing. Wish I could see more of it.

Congratulations on your recent marriage to Matt.

French seams are absolutely the best way to go on a sheer garment. I agree dolly french seams are a lot of work but worth it!

    Hi Paul,
I heard that you may need some help getting Nimbus ready for shipping when she arrives. I have available time during the week and would like to do anything I can to help. Let me know if I can be of assistance. Also, I’m THRILLED. I managed to purchase Atropa. I have admired her for a long time and due to the small number made never thought that I’d have the opportunity to own her. She is truly a work of art and she’s come back home to Hartford!
